Dr. Saira B. Momin is a fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon whose primary focus is to surgically remove skin cancers. Dr. Momin also performs reconstructive surgical repairs of Mohs surgery defects, dermatologic surgery, and a variety of other dermatologic procedures.
Dr. Momin attended medical school at University of North Texas-Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. She completed her dermatology residency training at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV and her Mohs fellowship training in Miami, FL.
During her residency, Dr. Momin served as Chief Resident of Dermatology and was the recipient of Daniel Koprince, D.O. Education Award for outstanding lecture presentation. During this time, she also assisted in dermatology course development, lecture preparation, and teaching of the medical students at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Momin also serves on the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology. She has authored numerous articles in various dermatology journals and has contributed to a chapter in Cutaneous Manifestations of HIV Disease dermatology textbook. Dr. Momin is also a clinical adjunct professor at University of North Texas-Health Science Center.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Momin strives to provide a friendly, supportive environment for the patients where they feel confident and comfortable with the care they receive. Dr. Momin enjoys traveling, watching sports, interior design and is a foodie at heart.
